ALEXANDRA ABOAGYE (ALEXANDRAH), is an anointed, dynamic and extremely versatile contemporary gospel vocalist who has a wide arena of singing flair.
Having started music at a very younger age, she made singing a hobby and kept developing interest in it and that gave her the opportunity to sing at various teen programs. She graduated from the Children's Choir (Triumphant Voices) of The Light of Life Gospel Mission to the Youth Choir, now KINGDOM MINSTRELS .
From then till now, ALEXANDRAH is known to always leave her audience undoubtedly BLESSED after her ministrations. ALEXANDRAH was born into a very vibrant music family where music was a prevalent resource and therefore is not surprising to see her sing up until now.
She constantly gives credit to her mother for mentoring and harnessing her vocal capabilities which has eventually given her a distinct style in her ministry. Alexandra was a member of a non-denominational singing group: SHINNING STARS, which she joined at the age of 7 and that gave her the opportunity to minister on several platforms; countless church concerts and state functions. With time, she found her way into the hearts of people by her exceptionally unique voice and infectious ministry.
ALEXANDRAH continued to hold high her flame of exceptionality when she entered WESLEY GIRLS ’ HIGH SCHOOL and later furthered her education at KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ( KNUST ) and joined Harvest Chapel International on campus.
Few months after enrolment, ALEXANDRAH had become a household name on the KNUST campus and its environs because of her uniqueness in ministering songs in her own rendition. She rose from a member of the Mass Choir of KNUST to become the Music Director. Typical renditions of songs done includes; “ABANDENDEN” and the covers “TWERE NO” and the “TETE NYAME MEDLEY”. This unique flair served as great inspiration to many,far and near. Evident of this was when several talented youth took to singing like ALEXANDRAH.
Alexandra Aboagye is the brain behind Glorious Praise because as a member of The Light of Life Gospel Mission and a powerful songstress, she was very instrumental in the maiden edition and subsequent events with which her good foundation has helped in sustaining Glorious Praise over the years.
Her composition abilities, arrangement capabilities and her simplicity in executing songs on her own has earned her recognition and given her the opportunity of working with several local and international artistes: Byron Cage, Ohemaa Mercy, Danny Nettey, Jesse Morgan, Ntokozo Mbambo, Dr. Sonnie Badu to mention a few.
